  28. If my memory serves me, Doug Gwyn deliberately left this
  29. group several years ago as a result of the appalling signal 
  30. to noise ratio.  If we want to avoid chasing the few 
  31. remaining experts off to comp.lang.c.moderated, (and hence 
  32. retain some interest in this group) perhaps we
  33. should listen to what they have to say.

  35. For what it's worth, I can't really see what the objection
  36. to Tanmoy's posts is - they've never struck me as being
  37. particularly abrupt, and certainly not offensive in any
  38. way.  Perhaps people are just being a little over-sensitive.
