- If my memory serves me, Doug Gwyn deliberately left this
- group several years ago as a result of the appalling signal
- to noise ratio. If we want to avoid chasing the few
- remaining experts off to comp.lang.c.moderated, (and hence
- retain some interest in this group) perhaps we
- should listen to what they have to say.

- For what it's worth, I can't really see what the objection
- to Tanmoy's posts is - they've never struck me as being
- particularly abrupt, and certainly not offensive in any
- way. Perhaps people are just being a little over-sensitive.
